THE MALDIVES LONGRUN 2024

the Maldives LONGRUN 2024 will kickstart its long day of running festival on the 6th of December friday morning, in the streets of hulhumale. the Maldives LONGRUN is the longest running endurance event in the maldives with over a decade of finish line memories. come and join us for the 2024 edition;

race details.

• race village – hulhumale central park
• start/finish – hulhumale central park (on a 5km loop)
• race bib collections will take place in Ma. Haivakaruge, Dhanburuh Magu, Male’ from the 30th of november (saturday) till the 4th of december (Wednesday) from 2:00pm till 8:00pm (everyday).
• all the races are run on a 5km loop with the marathon and half marathon slightly deviating from the loop (at the very start) to adjust for the total distances.
• on the 5km loop, you will find 3 aid stations where your hydration needs will be met, including a dedicated station for sports drinks as well as bananas.
• the cut-off time for the entire race will be 8:00am.

• hulhumale is about 15 minutes drive from Velana International Airport
• male’ is the capital of Maldives and it takes about 20 minutes (or less) a drive from male’ to reach hulhumale
• there are many hotels (bed and breakfast style) in hulhumale that can cater to your needs (usual search engines like booking.com can provide you with options).
• tourists flying in to maldives do get visa’s on arrival
