Ibiza Kids Run Caixabank 2019

ARTICLE 1: NAME AND ORGANISATION

Talentum Group organises the Ibiza Kids Run, which will take place on Saturday 6 April 2019 at 11.00 a.m. and in which any children between 4 and 12 years of age may take part, with no distinction.

ARTICLE 2. DATE, TIME and VENUE

The races will start from 11 a.m. on Saturday 6 April in the start area of the Ibiza 12K, in Marina Santa Eulalia, near the runner’s fair.

ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION

All children between 4 and 12 years of age who wish to do so may participate, without distinction.

ARTICLE 4. CATEGORIES

There are four races, one for under-7s (250 metres), one each for under-9s and under-11s (500 metres) and a long-distance race for under-13s (1,000 metres).

“Querubines” under-7 – Born in 2013, 2014 and 2015

“Pre-benjamines” under-9 – Born in 2011 and 2012

“Benjamines” under-11 – Born in 2009 and 2010

“Alevines” under 13 – Born in 2007 and 2008

ARTICLE 5. REGISTRATION

Registration will be free of charge and a contribution may be made in favour of the charitable organisation when collecting the race number.

ARTICLE 6. COLLECTION OF NUMBERS

Friday 5 April: Runner’s Fair – Palau de Congressos d’ Eivissa. (Santa Eulària des Riu) Av / Metge Salvador Camacho, No. 9. Santa Eulària des Riu. Time: Friday 5 April from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Saturday 6 April: start area. Marina Santa Eulalia from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

ARTICLE 7. AUTHORISATION OF PARENTS

Upon registration an authorisation will be required from the parent or guardian for participation in this race, which must be presented when collecting the race number.

ARTICLE 8. ASSIGNMENT OF DATA AND IMAGE

The parent or guardian authorises the organisers to make use for advertising purposes of details, photos, videos and/or any other type of audiovisual material in which the child may appear, accepting publication of his/her name in the media and/or internet, without expecting any payment, compensation or remuneration for this concept. Furthermore, this material and information may be used in subsequent editions of the trial and may be assigned to any sponsor of the trial who may use (directly or via third-party entities) the photographs, videos, etc. obtained during the race, exclusively for sporting or promotional purposes.

ARTICLE 9. RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER

All participants, by registering, declare that they are aware of and accept these Regulations and the Responsibility Disclaimer and the Data Protection Policy. In the event of doubt, the decision of the Organisers shall be final.

Responsibility Disclaimer and the Data Protection Policy

Merely by registering, the participant declares as follows: “I am in an optimum state of health to participate in the Ibiza Kids Run. Furthermore, I absolve the organisers, sponsors or other participating institutions from any liability with regard to any accident or injury that I may sustain before, during and/or after the sports event, hereby waiving any legal action against any of said entities. During the holding of the competition I will collaborate with the Organisers to the extent possible, to avoid personal accidents”.

However, the organisers advise runners to submit to a medical examination prior to the race, and all participants accept the risks associated with sporting activity.
