GENERAL INFORMATION ON CALVIÀ'S CHARITABLE AND VIRTUAL HIDROBAL SANTSILVESTRE AND SANSILVESTAIL 2020

We all want to run away from this fateful 2020, and now we have the opportunity to do so whilst also contributing to a great cause, by adding our grain of sand to the campaign "Sponsor a gift, so that no child in Calvia is left without gifts this Christmas”

The Calvian “Hidrobal SANTSILVESTRE 2020” will be VIRTUAL - hopefully for the first and last time, and will incorporate a new category, the “SANTSILVESTRAIL.” Of course, the objective remains the same as that with which it was born, that we say goodbye to the year doing physical activity, showing that as well as being a healthy habit, it is also fun, sociable and this year, most importantly, CHARITABLE.

Days to be held: 30th and 31st December

Race modalities:

• 7km. SANTSILVESTRE: run a distance of 7 km. wherever you like. Choose your route and beat your record or wear your best clothes (dress up).
• 10km. SANTSILVESTRAIL: run a distance of 10 km. in a route of forest, mountain, paths and trails. You choose the altitude and also the pace, but the important thing is to reach the end.

What does the race consist of?

It is a virtual race. That is to say, when you register on the Sportmaniacs website, you choose the distance you want to run (7 km. Santsilvestre or 10 km. SANTSILVESTRAIL). Afterwards, you download the Live Sportmaniacs Baleares application to your mobile phone.

Once you have the application installed on your mobile phone, you activate it using your registration details. And you download the race bib.

The day you are going to run (30th or 31st December - the starting time is up to you) open the APP, click on START and start running. When you reach the distance you have registered for (7 or 10 km.) the APP will advise you and you will have finished the race and your time will be recorded.

You will receive your race diploma, and you will have contributed to a great social objective.

Where do I have to run? Is there a proposed circuit?

You can run wherever you like, the only limitation is the distance you have proposed to run. If you have registered with SANTSILVESTRAIL we expect you to run along a mountain or forest path, etc.

How much is the registration fee?

Registration is free, but there is an obligatory minimum donation of 2 euros that goes entirely to the "Sponsor a Gift" campaign so that no child in Calvià is left without gifts this Christmas. There is a possibility of donating 2 euros, 5 euros or 7 euros for each registration.

What does registration include?

By participating, you enter a draw for different gifts. In addition, the registration includes, classification, a commemorative diploma and the satisfaction of making children happy.

What will be done with the registration donations?

100% of the registration donations will go to the "Sponsor a Gift" campaign so that no child in Calvià is left without gifts this Christmas.

Do I need to carry my mobile phone during the race? And the APP?

Yes, you must do the race with your phone and the race APP. This is the only way for us to receive your participation data, i.e. your time and the route taken.

Can I run in fancy dress?

Of course! In fact we have special prizes for the best costumes. We look forward to seeing your photo in costume.

Can I run with friends or family?

As long as you comply with the different regulations in force for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic and follow the necessary recommendations (hand washing, social distancing, etc...) yes, you can do so.

Can I send photos?

Yes, in fact, we would love you to send us some photos of your race. These photos will serve to illustrate the social media and websites of the event and thus place value on your participation. However, we do not want you to violate any protocol or anti-covid regulations in your photos. Therefore, we ask you to be responsible when taking them and we remind you that we will only publish images in which the participants comply with the established regulations.
